Your worship log is yours

Ibadah is built on a simple rule: your relationship with Allah is private. This policy explains what we store, why we store it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: June 2026

Overview

Ibadah is a worship-tracking web app. We collect only the information needed to run your account and sync your records across devices. We do not sell personal data, run ads against your activity, or train machine-learning models on your worship logs.

Data we collect

When you register, we store your name, email, and authentication credentials (hashed passwords or OAuth identifiers from Google sign-in). When you use the app, we store the worship entries you create — Salah logs, Quran pages, Dhikr counts, habits, and checklist items — along with preferences such as language and timezone.

We also collect basic technical data common to web apps: IP address, browser type, and request logs used for security and reliability. We do not collect precise location for prayer times.

Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your theme and locale preferences. These are required for the app to function. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we protect your data

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Access to production systems is restricted to the small team that operates Ibadah.

No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the minimum data principle: if we do not need a field, we do not ask for it.

Your choices

You can update your profile, export your worship history from Settings, or delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your worship records from our servers subject to routine backup retention windows.

If you have questions about your data, email [email protected] and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Children

Ibadah is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when features or legal requirements change. Material changes will be noted here with an updated date.
